Does anyone have any recommendations for a GPS unit and placement for a 280SLX (or any SLX for that matter)?  I have been less than satisfied with the GPS included in the Dynamic Dashboard and while it's nice to have it integrated, I think I would rather keep a full time GPS up and available.

I mounted a Lowrance GPS/plotter on the dash and just to the left of the steering wheel on my 240SD

I have a Garmin 7610xsv in dash and a 741 on dash to right of compass for eye-level viewing while on the go. Great set up for my 290SD.
