Does anyone have experience with after market items like skeg guard? I am concerned about drilling holes on the skeg for the steel ones and not sure about the shape of the boot style. 2006 WE225, Alpha One

Have a new one welded on, had mine welded on last year, *0.00 Had mine repaired at a welding shop who does this kind of work, $80.00, good as new.

Hi Capt...I trailer my WE225 and twice chipped the skeg at the ramp due to low water. I did have a piece welded on at $200 and it works fine. I just dont want to do it again. Thanks
