Hello, 

I recently purchased a 2015 Sea Ray 260 SD.   I have some general questions about my fresh water system.  I am a new to boating.

I noticed that the water coming from my sinks and transom shower is pink.  Anyone know why?    Is this Antifreeze? 

Can I drain my fresh water tank and how do I do this?

How do I empty my fresh water tank and refill with clean fresh water?   

Where does the waste water from the sink go?  Do I have to empty it?

Your help is much appreciated.

The pink would be RV antifreeze in the lines. I presume your water tank is empty - but you should be able to see it in the engine compartment to check. If you fill the tank with fresh water you can pump out any remaining antifreeze. If the previous owner put the antifreeze directly in the tank, you may need to rinse a few times to get the water To run clear.

I always add a little bleach (Very little - maybe 1/2
Cup for 40 gal of water) to my first freshwater fill of the season to guard against any residual smells....
