Hi everyone,

I'm a (proud) new owner of a 2020 SPX 210 inboard. After one week, my ignition switch on the dashboard has been broken. Does anyone has an idea which replacement part I need for the ignition key switch ? Inboard motor is a Merc ECT 4.5L MPI A1 (250 PHP) sterndrive.

thanks,

Tim

Welcome to the forum.

Why not just do a bulk purchase of ignition switches if they only last a week?

Or, this is a brand new boat, let the Sea Ray dealer do the free warranty repair.

Good luck w/ the new boat! Enjoy the fun.

Thanks!

Because if I have to wait for the dealer, I lose a couple of weeks, and I can buy the correct item (therefor my question) on Amazon and have it tomorrow...

Does this look like the correct part?

Please beware this may be an issue on the new boats. I spoke to someone at the docks who had just purchased a 190 SPX and had the ignition switch fail, they seemed to have had a slew of problems with their new boat.
