I am so happy to have my new 1988 Sea Ray Seville with 135 Mercury!!! Now, where do I buy new spark plugs and are they a common item or should I take an old one with me? I am new to all of this and very grateful to have "Rosie" in my life! Any words of advice?

Not generally a common item if you are inland. Rather than removing a plug (and risk breaking one incase you have to order then new ones), try pulling the boot and wire off the plug and copy the plug number. Take that number to an auto parts store and buy or order replacements.

I found a parts store next a Marina down the street which keeps these plugs in stock!
Changed them out yesterday. Rosie is happy now... 🙂
