I need to remove and reseal the bilge plug flange on my 07 200 Select. Any suggestions for removing and reinstalling the through hull nut and bolt securing the grounding wire?

Just did that on my 240 SD. I ended up buying a new stainless steel screw and wing nut. I bought it a little longer than the previous one. When it gets to the point where it starts to tighten, the wing nut will engage the outside of the housing and not spin. It worked out for me. I also used 5200. I reused the other 2 wood screws.

Thanks, were you able to access the nut and wire from the inside or did you do the whole job from outside the bilge?

Did it all from the outside. No way I'm fitting in there to reach all the way to the transom. I had to take mine off because the oil hose wouldn't come out. Basically opened a can of worms. Here's a pic of what I opened up....
