I just took delivery on the same boat 250 HP (Bravo 3) seems fairly adequate to me. We went out with the salesman for the delivery and it ran just fine. Cruised nice around 30mph @3300 rpm. We put the pedal to the metal a coupe times our best was 48 mph @5k. The bimini was open, so I imagine I could have done a little better. I'll probably never red line it again since that just isn't my thing. We like to cruise and fish a lot.
