My husband and I just purchased a 2016 21 SPX. Since day one, which now I wish we had not taken possession of it, the storage compartment under the dash on the port side continues to remain wet from water leaking. We have taken back to dealer three times for drain tube corrections and extensive water test. Now, Sea Ray is stating that this is normal for this boat. Even though the storage compartment has carpet. I have owned two previous Sea Ray Sundeck boats and neither one had water leaking into this compartment.
Is there anyone else out there with this type boat and problem? I don't know how to get this correct. The dealership states that Sea Ray is telling them that we just have to deal with it. I don't even want the boat anymore! I am pretty sure I can find one that my dry storage will remain dry as designed.
