2009 43 Sundancer: Anybody experiencing a slight leak when it rains on the skylights?  I tried caulking everything, but still drips in when it rains.

Yes I had a pretty bad leak leak. I had a guy come and he completely removed the skylight and all of the old caulk and then reseated it and recaulked it again.

I had a bad leak on one of mine also, turned out one of the hinge screws had backed out and was holding the window up just enough for it to not seal.

I also had a leak and when I completely pulled it apart it was obvious that it was not correctly caulked when it left the factory. If it's done correctly that will fix your leaks, otherwise you have may have a crack in your gel coat somewhere else (likely at the windshield) and the water is pooling at the skylight.

If sealing the window surround doesn’t do the trick you could tighten the through window latch points???

Different boat, similar issue. My ‘07 40 MY was leaking around the skylight. Discovered it was actually the mast head light leaking around the base and running inside the hardtop cavity, then coming out around the skylight. Recaulked that and the leak stopped. Wasn’t the skylight at all!

2005 390MY, leak was where the windshield wiper motor goes through the ceiling. Removed the wiper arm, loosened the jam nut, used byutl tape wrapped around the underside of the metal washer. Tightened it all up, no more leak
