Anyone use a Stern Saver mounting...

Anyone use a Stern Saver mounting block with a Raymarine RV-100 transom-mount transducer on a 280 with twin 5.0’s? 

The idea of installing without drilling into the hull is appealing.

To be clear, I’d be interested in hearing from anyone who has used the Stern Saver block, doesn’t have to be on a 280DA.
