I recently purchased a '98 Sundancer 290, and the back light system for the rocker switches and instrument panel do not work.  I replaced the dimmer dial, still nothing.  The source of light seems to be some kind of foil strips with wire leads, covering the back side of where all the lettering is for the switches.  Not sure about the lack of light for all the instrument dials.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Are these the parts that might be required?

Mine doesn't use these and instead has a skinny illuminated "rope" sitting in grooves behind the dash text w/ a small box driving that "rope".
