First post and looking for some recommendations/Opinions:
I have a new 250 SDX purchased primarily as a family run about, but my family also likes to dabble in water sports (skiing, wakeboarding, hydrofoiling), none of us are going to make the pro circuit but we do like to “go as hard as our bodies will allow”. I have owned boats for many years, Sea Ray and Chaparral, all around the same size.
My experience with this particular boat is that it both is hard to get up on plane/porpoises once up with very small trim adjustment and has an extremely washed out wake. I know this is neither a ski boat or a wakeboard boat, but I am trying to make it usable.
My question is what does this forum think about:
Trim Tabs, going down a prop size, or other options that might help achieve our goals?
