I am looking at replacing the 6.5" speakers in my boat.  I am looking at the Fusion 6022 or the Kenwood speakers.  Does anyone have any comments on a good, reasonably price set of speakers?

I went with the Polk marine speakers, the screw holes even lined up. They sound great driven by the original amps

I replaced mine with JL speakers, they are great, there story is there plant is in south Florida and they have speakers on the roof in the weather playing 25/7 , that way they can always be improving. The sound is excellent.billy

Billy, how was the color match for the JL speakers to your SR? The old sony's blended in quite well. I had some speakers that I took a look at and they were so bright white that they stood out too much.

I just put JL Audio on my 290 Sundancer/ put in the radar arch for sound while underway / only wish I had done it a long time ago / had to build spacer rings and cut the holes larger plus turn my antenna bolts around - but great sound and well worth the effort
