I done this on my 98 270DASE Sundancer (sgl 7.4L Bravo3, 8’6” beam). Fairly big job that requires: 1) some planning & thinking about proper location, anchor locker head space & structural mounting of actual windlass 2) need to remove port interior panels to route the proper heavy gauge battery wires from engine compartment battery(s) (with proper sealing to prevent engine fumes into cabin) + circuit breaker 3) need to remove starboard interior panels for helm windlass control switches 4) mount foot switches on bow near windlass. #3/4 might be simplified if you opt for a wireless controlled windlass.
