I want to add 25 30 gallons per side to my 380DA. take out the old tank and put a new slightly larger capacity tank in. Does anyone have a good source for Sear Ray oversize fuel tanks? Ideally with a quick turn around (chuckle).

Thanks in advance.

Diesel or gas? It may be possible to add a tank with a transfer pump, you'd next space in the center line area for weight distribution. Space is always the issue in a bilge, but the additional tank might be cheaper and easier than a new tank. Usually, fuel tanks are installed before the engines, transmissions and everything else, so, everything will need to come out. Big job!

Gas. My engines are taken out so I thought the tank upgrade would be a nice to have. Mine are provided by Florida Marine Tanks, Inc. Turns out a new tank exactly like my installed tanks would be 2500. So a tank with a few extra gallons, although nice, would be a lot more than I’m prepared to spend. With engine out it is clear the new tanks could fit.
