We recently purchased a 2015 Sundancer 350. Looking for coffee making solutions. Obviously many options. Looking for good quality coffee. Suggestions obviously need to comply with the boats electrical system. Specific brands / model suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

You may want a more elegant solution, but we love using a French Press on the boat. The taste is phenomenal, but it does take a bit more work.

Hi @Samuel Fisher - I bought the special “hotel version” of a Keurig coffee maker which is half the wattage of the typical home version. You can find them on Amazon for $97. It is called the “in room brewing system” and it is only 700 watts. Plus it fits perfectly in the overhead galley cabinet.

This was the route that I went in my 460. Bought it from Lowes. I plumbed it directly into the boat plumbing
with a 3 stage water filter. Draws the same amount of power as any other coffee maker, but saves on counter space. I am simple when it comes to my coffee. Folgers works just fine. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Brew-Express-10-Cup-Stainless-Steel-Programmable-Commercial-Coffee-Maker/3282104

Thank you all so much...this is very helpful. Our 350 has a Kohler 5000KW generator which I’m guessing can run a 1350 watt nespresso (I think) ...seems this might be the way as I’m thinking pods might travel better + people can make their own coffee when they want it..at home I’m a fanatic (VBM Italian machine) but on the water I’m thinking ease + simplicity🤔..thanks again for your help!

It will run it just fine. Watch your loads when the AC or heat is running along with other energy high use items like the microwave and stoves.

We've had great success with the COFFEEBOXX Black Single Serve Coffee Maker available at Home Depot.

We have the 2009 350/370 and we use a metal percolator. Makes fantastic coffee and the only glass on it is the percolator knob. We just put water in it on the stove eye on high and in about 10 minutes we have great coffee.

We keep a Kurig coffee maker aboard. Keep the pods in a ziplock bag. It works great.

We have a '97 370 A/C and it came with a Black & Decker auto drip coffee maker. I know that particular model coffee maker is probably 15+ years old but I love the fact that I can set up the coffee the night before and program it for 30 minutes before I normally get up - I wake to the smell of fresh coffee.
