Good day everyone, my wife Elizabeth and I are first time boaters.  As retirement present after 37 years in the Canadian military, we bought a 1987 268 Weekender.  Unfortunately the owner no longer had user manual, engine manual, etc.  I also noticed Sea Ray does not carry them either.  Would anyone have any of these manuals as I would like to do some restorations?  Cheers!  Louis

All Mercury parts are searched / selected by engine serial number. These might not be exactly correct for the OP engine.

My understanding is that the wiring diagrams for those older boats was a Sea Ray service department document, not included in the User Manual like on the newer boats. Maybe your local dealership might grant temporary access.

On my 2000 380DA, it came w/ an acceptable wiring diagram and I created my own schematic pages for updates I installed.

In 1987, the 268DA, or 268 Sundancer was part of the Sport Cruiser line of boats. It didn’t have it’s own stand alone manual. The manual covered a few models of boats in various lengths. The link below is to the manual that came with the boat. You will see specific 268 information in the manual.

Wingless is correct in that wiring schematics were a Sea Ray Service Department exclusive.
