HI,
I'm kinda new, just bought a 1988 sea ray seville cuddy 21 (i thnk 21, maybe 20). Anyways i need to replace the starter, (very confident from diagnosis) and boy oh boy is it a struggle to get to one of the bolts holding it in. This model has the rear seats fiberglassed into the boat so there isn't really access from the side so all i can go is from the front of the engine and its tough. One bolt is so tight to the engine that you can't even get a socket on it which seems quite crazy. Or is this a standard issue and you have to use an ultra thin walled socket? Dont want to round it off with a wrench and be fuxored.
