2016 270 SDX. The boat does not have the swim step option. It does have the appearance that the swim platform is molded for the swim step. Can my boat be converted to add the swim step ?

The manual swim step is a pretty crappy design. It floats in the waves Bc it doesn’t lock down. Apparently cobalt has the patent on a locking swim step. Needless to say unless you make your own locking mechanism the leading edge of the step floats at just the right level to knock out someone’s teeth in the waves.

I asked my dealer if they could change mine to the swim step. Estimate was around $3,000.
