Hello, I live up in the Pacific...

Hello,

I live up in the Pacific Northwest and my fabric boat cover is starting to get a bit gritty and seeing some algae growth in spots. I’m getting ready to call it a season and bring it inside until spring but wondered what folks recommend for washing/cleaning the fabric? I was going to put it in my front loader on delicate but don’t want to speed up it’s end (it’s from a 2005 205 Sport). FYI -Was going to do the Bimini as well

Wash with woolite or dreft and a small amount t of bleach. Gentle cycle, I wouldn’t use a front loader for this however, go to laundromat.

Why not just wash it w/ boat soap and a soft brush / mitt while on the boat? Do it one way then flip it upside down and do it again?

@Paul Ferrara - If I wash it on the boat the girm/water will go inside the boat and at this time of season will take weeks to dry. Would work earlier In the season.
