Has anybody replaced the water heater recently in a 44 sedan bridge? Trying to figure out what new model of water heater will fit in that space.

Why not start the fun early and yank the existing water heater?

You might want to replace the controler and element. You may not neec a new heater.

I have a 1989 440 convertible, basically the same. Mine had rotted pretty bad. I picket another location with a bit better access and measured the clearance. Bought a small 19 gallon model from Home Depot. Much less expensive way to go.

I just recently had to replace the water heater on my 98 400 EC. To remove the water heater they had to remove the manifold and riser so I decided to relocate the heater, now at least I can service it now
