2010 390 Sundancer

My cockpit upholstery needs to be updated.  I am looking for the best quality material as my boat sits exposed at the dock all year.  I am looking for suggestions about what material is the best quality and manufacturers of the skins.  I will either remove and replace the skins or have someone local help me get it done.

When I started doing marine sewing several years ago I quickly discovered that Sailrite has THE best information on these products.

Be aware that the cockpit upholstery is a very complicated sequential assembly. As an example, this base cushion has an initial foam piece that is covered w/ part of the cover, pulled down and secured to the base plate w/ internal panels, prior to additional foam pieces installed.

Thanks for the info. It does look much more involved than I thought. I'll look into the cost of a professional to get it done.
