After pontooning for the last 12 years my wife and I just purchased a very well maintained 360.  I am curious about sleeping under gen power.  The boat has two working C02 detectors.  Any feedback or advice?

What year is the 360? Most marine CO detectors are good for 5 years so if are getting close I would replace. Has the generator been properly serviced before taking ownership? Just this weekend I replaced 2 CO's in my 98 290 SA. When I bought the boat I found the previous owner had unplugged them..... glad he didn't end up dead.

It's an 02 and I just replaced the one in the mid cabin. The forward cabin is two years old

My experience has been that the boat has always anchored w/ the bow pointing at the wind. The generator exhaust exits the boat at the rear corner and keeps blowing away.

It is possible w/ canals, rivers or other locations w/ strong current, that the current is stronger than the wind, causing the exhaust to head towards the cabin. In those cases a new, working, CO detector is required.
