Hello all! Our newly acquired 270 (2000) has only the butane stove which BTW has never been used. I am reluctant to even try it - not sure I want "gas" anyway even if no concern over corrosion for lack of use... Any advice on cost/value of switching this out or just use my plug in hot plate and ignore this item which is in my way.... I was thinking make a false counter to set over the top of it... I look forward to any wisdom you wish to share!
