Just purchased a 2007 24”Sundancer; How do you remove the mirror in the head?

I see a piano hinge along the entire top but cannot find any sort of release.

Thank you,

Scott

I had a similiar one in my 2004 260DA. The mirror is attached with a heavy duty Velcro type fastener behind the mirror. Pull slowly, but firmly from the bottom and it will swing up. Check out www.clubsearay.com for a good source for SR information

I have a 2002 Amberjack The bottom is held on with snaps but I had to pull very hard to unsnap it.

Thank you I will give it a try, just didn’t want 7 years of bad luck when it snaps in half.

Is there storage behind it? I have an 07 as well.

Not on the 2004 260DA or 2006 300DA. Not sue on 240DA but I doubt it.

I have a ‘97. 370Dancer Same thing with the mirror. Towards the bottom is a snap in the center. But there’s nothing behind it

If I recall correctly it is just a single fastener at the bottom center on my 06 290DA. It might even be just Velcro. Nothing behind it though.

I had a 2000 270 Sundancer and I asked about the mirror being hinged with velcro at the bottom. I was told that the reason it was mounted that way was because if they hard mounted the mirror it would break so this was Searays solution.
