We have a 2014 330DA and our left side stereo speakers were not working. After determining it was not the speakers, so we removed what we could so I could feel around best I could and found loose wires. After an hour fumbling around I was able to reconnect the wire and all was well. They have come loose again and we need to get into the cabinet to do a better job.

Does anyone know HOW to get the breaker Panel out so we can SEE what we are doing and not just FEEL?

If so, isn't the each half attached w/ oval head tapping screws w/ finish washers in the corners?

What is the issue when those screws are removed?

Thank you. Yes, that is it. We have removed those screws but the wood panel is still attached somehow. We even removed the door. We can only pull the unit out so far as there are a LOT of wires connected to that piece.

Now, that I'm rethinking (we did this last season and just opened up and noticed the wires loose again and we went oh, no. It was a real pain.) I'm thinking we were able to remove the bottom panel enough for me to get my hands in there to feel around. We'd really like to get the top out so I can SEE what I'm doing.

Someone screwed up that area.

Each panel should be possible to remove to provide normal / expected service, with the panel providing access with the wires entering from one side.

The panels should permit movement away from the installed location like a hinge.

My guess is the problem exists because wires now enter from both or from all sides.

Yeah, there's a lot going on back there. Another reason I'd like to get the panel off to perhaps "untangle" some of it.

On my boat I removed every inch of aftermarket wiring and installed it so it was impossible to discern any difference from OEM wiring.

Now all my wiring is labeled at both ends and all my wiring has a great wiring diagram schematic, better than provided w/ the boat.
