Can someone tell me if the Mercruiser...

Can someone tell me if the Mercruiser 496 MAG 8.1L engines have an actual IAC valve and muffler filter in the throttle body?? I cannot seem to locate and believe I may have read that the DTS options do not have IAC. Does anyone know for sure? Thank you!

The best way to determine the parts on a specific engine is using the serial number.

Here is a search for an 8.1L engine showing the muffler filter, but it may not be the correct search for your particular engine.
