Good Morning members!,i have a 2004 420 Sundancer.i have 217 Cummin motor’s.yesterday i turn off my motor’s and my port side motor stay on.my port side light switch stay on after several attempts on my cabin panel and my engine room panel.to shut down the engine i turn the fuel valve off and the engine shut down in 30 seconds and the green light on the switch on both places went off.i had this same problem a month ago and i change the starting switch i thought i solve the problem but not so.any thoughts from anyone.

There is probably a fuel shutoff solenoid on the engine that isn't working properly.

The nice thing w/ two identical engines is that suspect parts may be swapped to determine if the problem follows the part. That is especially handy when the part cost, like for this part, is very high.

It is your fuel solenoid on the engine. It need to be replaced.
