Hello all. Name’s Eric and I hail from west central Minnesota. In March we upgraded from a 1966 Starcraft Holiday 18’ I/o to a 1998 SeaRay 185BR. Love the boat but I am having one issue. It doesn’t pop up out of the water when ya punch it like the Starcraft did. It just wallows a bit and the bow goes skyward and that’s with it fully trimmed down.

Just curious what ya’ll are running for trim tabs? I’m convinced those are the correct remedy for this.

I have a 97 185BR with a 4.3. Mine gets up and goes, no tabs at all. There is a tech resources section within the owners club, maybe check to ensure you have the right prop for your boat.

How long you had it?

At the time posted it, we had it for a couple monthes. We have had it now over a yr.
