Help removing Clarion Radio on 2000 215 EC

Good morning everyone.

The radio in my 215EC went dead. I checked the fuse and feed on the fuse panel and they’re ok.

I wanted to get to the back of the radio (it’s mounted on a panel inside the cabin – see attached photos) to check the wiring and possible fuse on the wiring harness.

I was hoping to remove the radio from the panel but I cannot figure how to remove the faceplate.

Alternative would be to remove the panel.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

JohnS

Have you tried the documents for the radio to see how to remove it? Or tried to google that model? They all just mount into a hole and are held in by clips. There might even be a removal key with the paperwork.

Thanks 1 LuckyDog!, I was able to pop the sides on the faceplate off and that exposed the screws to remove the radio chassis from the sleeve (see attached photos).
