I have a 1982 cuddy cruiser. I don’t know much about it, but with some pictures was abt to figure out it has an OMC stringer 800, 225 hp.

I live in Roy WA, and need to find a place that does maintenance and repairs.

I got a Seloc manual for it, and for the engine, if I can find a place to order parts, I can do most engine stuff, but I need help on everything else and would be very happy to find someone smart on this boat to help me figure out if I can put it in the water, once I get the engine running, and if not what needs to be done to make it water worthy, etc.

Welcome to the forum.

Good luck with your boat and projects.

If old OEM parts are needed then www.fpmarine.com is a very useful source.

Otherwise most parts are available online. Local vendors are useful for cushions and the like.

Assuming this is a first boat, so do all the safety stuff and supplies. An excellent resource is Chapman Piloting book.

Maintain an annual towing subscription, such a Sea Tow, because having them return a broken boat to the dock will cost thousands w/o that service.
