I have a 1985 Sea Ray 300 Sundancer and I'm in the process of fixing the neglect and old age problems. My problem is that the dashboard is faded blue and I want to paint it. What is the dash made of and what kind of paint will work well up there? Thx

I don’t know what paint would work but an idea I had was , were I ever needing to do this, is to make one in carbon fibre matting with epoxy resin. Just in case you feel ambitious

Welcome to the forum.
Why not post an image(s) showing the problem?
Is the part that needs painting the blue part in these images, or the black panel w/ the gauges?

Isn't the blue in these images upholstery fabric?
