I have a 2002 sun deck and the power trim gauge is inaccurate.it works but is not reporting the correct position. Can these be adjusted?

You need a new trim sender unit.

On my 2001 190 SD the volt meter and the temp guage are both inaccurate. Perhaps it is a guage issue, not a sender issue.

I had the same problem on my 2004 SD and was going to replace the senders, but found that the trim sender units mounted to the drive have screws to loosen the sender. I just had to twist/rotate the sender while monitoring the dash gauge to get the correct reading. I tightened them back up and works like a champ now.

T-bone is correct. You can adjust. If you do have to replace make sure to get oem sender. They are kinda a pain to replace sometimes and aftermarket are a bit unreliable
