I have a 2008 SD280. In the marina it is stored on an uncovered outside ground rack. I have access to 110 power but not 240. I have an 110 adapter for my shore power cable but am not sure if that would work with my boat, specifically will it work with the battery charger?

The shore power should have a NEMA L5-30 120VAC/30A plug (or two plugs).

If using a NEMA L5-30 to NEMA 5-15 adapter then just be aware that additional load, from things like a water heat, cooking surface or AC will likely overload the circuit.

It should be fine to keep the batteries topped off.

I highly doubt anything on your boat actually requires 240 volt, but that said it is possible and that should be checked out. Either bring two separate 115v legs to the boat or one and use a multi outlet and plug both lines from the boat into that. I do that every spring to get my boat ready to be launched. Make sure the cord you run to the boat is at least 12ga wire. Assuming your charger is 115v, you could also just figure out which leg the charger is on and you would only have to power that leg if that’s all you want power for.
