390 Motor Yacht 2005   port engine stop when manoeuvering for no reason tick over are 750/800 rpm  any ideas

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like an ignition issue. Have you checked the spark plugs and / or wires? (J/K, sorry for my poor attempt at humor...)

The diesel engine will want to run and run until fuel and/or air are interrupted. Strong speculation is fuel. Has the fuel system been recently maintained / cleaned?

Thanks wingless.      Fuel and air are fine,   fine when cruising at any speed,  only happens when manoeuvering im sure its a electronic problem ?
