I looked at a 2000 290 Sundancer over the weekend. I like the boat overall, but thought the head was a bit cramped and awkward for my large size to actually use the head standing up. Is there any difference in the amount of space in the head going to a 300 or 310?

We looked at a 300 and 310, and the heads were slightly bigger, mostly due to the placement of the sink just inside the door and the head to the rear. We ended up buying a 2001 280, which would be similar to the 290 you looked at.

It really depends on model year because Searay rebrands all the time. The 1998-2002 310 definitely has a bigger head.

Hi Jim we purchased a 2003 300 6 years ago and Sea Ray did a great job on the overall re-design of this boat (2002). Today the 300 is the 320 but besides that I am not huge, but at 5'9" 220 lbs the head works fine for me on our 300 and the boat has plenty of room for my wife and I. In my opinion after 35 years of boating I think this is the best boat I have ever owned and if I did trade I would go to the same series design but the 340. Good luck with your search.
