It looks like the primary issue is the gap between the Eisinglass and the windshield frame.
If correct, then loosen the sliding clamp on the aft support so it will slide. Moving it downward will bring those two hoops closer to perpendicular, decreasing the gap.
If the adjustment range is insufficient because of hitting the top hoop, then it might be required to disassemble / reassemble w/ the parts in a different order.
