New member !!! Need some advice, probably first of many requests !!!

2006 Sea Ray Amberjack 290 with twin merc 5.0L. When I attach the hose to flush the engines (salt water use), I hear what I would call a normal sound from the port attachment point. The starboard is totally silent and I think there is some type of blockage. Flushing  these engines is critical.....Any advice or experience with this problem ??????

Never heard noise one way or other that I recall. Is starboard engine running hot would be first question. And is boat on trailer or in water. My advice however would be to have boat on trailer and flush one engine at a time. Then check for proper low point drainage of engines.

Keep spare exhaust gaskets sets on-hand. The exhaust risers / knuckles must be periodically detached from the manifolds for inspection + replacement.

If the parts are full of corrosion, then replacement is required.
