Question.  I have two wires in my engine bay that are not connected.  One is the green bonding wire that is connected to the top thru hull.  It is lying underneath the Starboard engine. Should it be connected to that engine?  The other comes off the Westerbeke gen units starter.  It goes toward the stern under the engines but it is lying underneath the port engine.  Should it be connected to something or just removed?

Anything anyone knows would be appreciated.

Jim

Typically the bonding wires run directly back to a long terminal block located on the transom by the thru bolts that go into the hull zinc on the outside. Is that wire long enough to reach that. If so connect it back up. If not then I can not guess where it was hooked at. And sorry I can not help on the generator wire.

The bonding wires connect to a second drain plug fitting above the actual drain plug. No anodes are present. This is perplexing me
