Sundancer 260 Steering Cable Replacement

Hello Everyone,

Hope you enjoying this boating season! I have a 2008 Sundancer 260 that I would like to change the steering cable. I know I need to remove the clevis pin and nut at the back of the cable near the transom and that I also need to disconnect the cable rack at the helm. What I don't know, are there any zip ties or such behind the wall that the cable runs thru to the helm? I don't see any viewable access points other then the throttle and a speaker. I plan on using a pipe-camera to try and veiw the inside where the cable lays. I was hoping I would get some input from those that have replaced one...Thanks

Good luck w/ the project.

Don't have direct info on that task, except the factory MUST have had sufficient access, so the replacement will also have access.

Note on my boat the cockpit speaker holes are also used for grab handle bolt access.
