Hello all!  New member here and 1st time boat owner too.  I am an 18 year Navy submariner and now testing out the skimmer lifestyle.  Turns out submarines are really expensive so I just got a 1978 Sea Ray SRv200 at auction.  It is definitely going to be a project but that is what I wanted.  Anyone here gone through a similar restoration and have any good ideas/pointers?  Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.

That is a cool boat.

Please post images and plans for the restoration.

Oh really. Well that's what I am starting with. I will post some pics tomorrow of what she looks like. Then it is on to estimating and coming up with a battle plan.

This guy has a lot of good advice on boat restoration. His "how to" videos are relatively short, but full of information.
