Hi, I have a 1990 Amberjack 270.  I suppose this issue may be similar to other models as well.  Under the cockpit decking, there is insulation (with a plastic membrane) glued to the underside of the decking/engine covers etc.  Some of this material is coming unglued and falling down, which would eventually then lay on top of the engines.  Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?  What glue would be best?  Was new insulation installed or was the old/existing just glued tight?  Any comments would be appreciated.

That is sound deadening material. Only fix for it is to remove it and replace it with new. Fair warning it is a little pricey. They come with an adhesive on the back of them that sticks to most surfaces, followed by stainless screws with fender washers as a more permanent attachment method.
