I'm redoing the wiring on my old SeaRay, pretty much top to bottom. The original wiring was only so-so, age and salt air has certainly taken a toll and the numerous "improvements" by previous owners are comical at best.
Step 1 is tracking down every wire, removing many (many) wires going nowhere.
I'm now working my way through the switches on the dash. These will all be replaced with modern Blue Sea Contessa versions, but only once I'm sure the device at the other end is working.
All are obvious, save one, the Step Dn Pump. What's a Step Dn Pump?
