For those of you with the older Sundecks, could you tell me if you would go with the Sundecks, or the newer SDX design?   The older is a 24' and the newer is a 25'.   Curious as to your perspective to compare the two.

I love our Sundeck but given the opportunity I'd move up to a SDX.

I’ve had several sundecks last was a 260 2007. Moved into a 2020 270 sdx. Better by leaps and bounds with the exception of handling higher seas. Older ones with more pronounced bow handles rough seas better

I would also say move up to the sdx for no other reason than make sure you get an outboard. I was always an I/O person until I got an outboard and it changed everything.

I love my 2008 260 Sundeck - it's bullet proof

I agree with many above, we have the 270 sdx w 300 hp Verado and that’s the way to go if you have the means ($)

Yes the SDX does a great boat, and the 300 Verado makes it a perfect combo.
