In older SeaRay boats with twin engines (mine is a 1990 310 Sundancer, 454's) is one of the engines counter-rotational?  If yes, is it normally the port or the starboard engine that is counter-rotational?

Can one determine if an engine is standard-rotational or counter-rotational without pulling the engine?

Welcome to the forum.

If the boat has a vee drive transmission, forward of the engines, then both engines are normal rotation and one transmission is driven in forward while the other is in reverse.

That is very obvious when visually examining the exterior shift cable linkage.

Thanks for the prompt response. However, this boat does not have a vee-drive. Irt is a (near) straight drive shaft.

Transmission on engine, not stern drive? If transmission, then examine the linkage. Likely normal engine rotation, with one transmission going forward while other goes reverse.

Very obvious when examining linkage.
