Hi boaters! Any one have a good chart plotter mounting scheme to share for a 240 Sundeck? Not much space in my opinion, but I am hoping someone here has a clever installation to share. Thanks and Safe Boating!

I’ve been researching myself for replacing the Navman in our 2006 270 SLX. The Simrad Go 5 or Go 7 is the direction I’m leaning. My current Navman in 61/2”w X 6”h small space as well. Simrad go has optional mounting options.

Gig Harbor Dan: Please keep me posted on what you do. I have a 2007 270 SLX and also want to replace the Navman with a more up to date GPS/depth finder unit. So far I haven't found any the are a good fit.

I have a 2003 240 SD and replace the gauges and touch pad with twin MFD and lighted push buttons. Waiting on junction box to finish connections and solve communication error.

On my 2002 240 SD my chart plotter is mounted using a RAM mount from the chrome windshield support. It works great.

@Larry Hornsby — let me know as well— just bought a 250SLX and no gps on it except bracket and cables.. believe it could have been a Garmin 546— any ideas from the photo? Trying to get same model, so I have to run new cables/ drill new holes..

I have a 2007 240SD and last summer I installed a Garmin Echomap Plus 73sv on the left side, top of the console. It disables the compass when powered up, but otherwise works great.
