I have a 2011 270 slx 8.2 mercruiser and need to replace batteries. Looking for good replacement ideas.

I have used Interstate for years, no complaints

I did two things. I had 2 group 27 batteries from Interstate and I upgraded to Group 29 because they had the same base footprint. Then a friend of my suggested I upgrade from the Interstate Deep Cycle to the newer Interstate ECL battery. I've had them for 3 seasons and they have worked great.

Thanks for the feedback. I went to Interstate and found out they stopped making the ECL series. Ended up with the 31 series, little pricey but hopefully will last awhile.
