Live on the West coast of Florida and recently purchased a new SPX 190 OB. Would towing with a snap on cockpit/bow tonneau cover at highway speeds be an issue?

Welcome to the forum.

The covers I have seen for highway usage have retention straps that wrap under the keel, the cover extends down past the rub rail and is designed to remain secure when subjected to high wind loads.

A snap on storage cover would not be appropriate for usage on the roadway.

The other important item is to first ensure all cushions and items are secure or removed from the boat, to not be lost on the roadway.

Yes. It is better if you fold it down. I did and it ripped

New to the form. Just bought a 2009 310 Searay Sundance. Bought her out of Panama City, Fl. The Foot has a good amount of rust on it. Any ideas of how to repair this. I’m assuming it’s from the salt water.
