I have an 05'. 42 DA and I'm trying to remove the bottom section of the sofa/bed in the salon. It has drawer pulls much like one would find in a kitchen cabinet but I cannot find any release that allows me to pull the bottom section completely out so it can be removed. I have search for a small release lever and I've actually tried to forcibly pull it out of the track but it just will not come out. Does anyone know how The lower unit of the couch can be completely removed?
What type of guides is the pullout mounted on? Are there metal full suspension rails mounted on each side like you would find on kitchen cabinet drawers?
If it is like mine, just pull drawer all the way out and raise the handle end up to disengage a tab on the top of the back panel of the drawer. However my boat is older so not sure they are the same so do not force it. Should be very easy to do.
