2003 amberjack 290 Newbie Question

Just purchased my first twin screw I/O.  I have dual 115 gal tanks.  The STBD tank drains faster I believe as the gen set just draws from one tank.

Is this also the case for each motor?

Do they draw from only one tank or do the fuel lines combine somehow?

most twin engine boat owners report that one engine burns more than the other. I'm not sure why though.

This could be a factor, but i did see in the manuals that the generator pulls from the stbd tank.
Still not clear to me if the engines also draw from tanks separately or do the fuel lines merge.so fuel is drawn equally from both tanks.

My 2007 340SD only draws from the starboard tank.

Each motor draws from separate tanks they do not combine. The gen set only draws from one of the tanks. My 310 drinks more out of the port tank

Thanks for the tips!

My Amberjack manual also says that the generator pulls from the starboard tank but it actually feeds from the port tank.

Have a 2004 amberjack each engine draws from its own tank. The generator draws from the starboard. Also the power steering is on the starboard so you use more fuel.
